Silver Rings Online

I have owned two silver rings in my life, both with a significant story behind each one. Jewelry and especially rings hold an enormous amount of symbolism and meaning in our lives. They tend to represent the most important things and people we hold dear. It usually represents love, commitment, covenant, and passion in our culture. No other piece of jewelry holds such significance. 

The first was a sterling silver ring which was actually a woman's ring. It was a silver band that was a bout 5mm in width to be more precise. It was embroidered elegantly with an almost Celtic design. It was beautiful, and I was saving it for a special girl.

I don't quite remember where I got the ring from. All I know is that it became a symbol of my hope for love. I held on to it dearly for many years.

I would imagine and fantasize about the girl that I would fall in love with. The girl that I would give my heart and my soul to. Again, that ring symbolized for me hope in a love that would be deep and would last forever.

There was indeed a girl that I found and fell in love with. But I was delicate in my pursuit, knowing that I didn't want to mess it up. I tread carefully for many years being her friend.

I would often look at that silver ring and imagine a life with her. I would fantasize about putting that ring on her finger and the day that she would finally be mine.

How did it all turn out? Well, she broke my heart eventually and I lost the ring. I think I lost in a move or something.

The second of my silver rings is what matters to me the most. It's the one I got when I married my beautiful wife. Okay, it's not really the silver metal. It's tungsten, but its a similar color, and I call it a silver ring.

Anyways, this one is the one that matters. The day I married my wife is one of the most wonderful and happy day of my life. She is my lover and my best friend. And not only do I get to be with her and around her all the time, I get to be with her for the rest of my life. I get to build a life with her and I get to love her. I get to have her love me and care for me. And this second silver ring that I own is a symbol of that love that I now cherish and hold so dear.

Like I've said before, rings hold such a great significance in our lives. The great thing about silver is that it's not gold or platinum. First of all, I don't think gold looks that great to begin with. Secondly platinum is more beautiful to me, and silver looks like platinum, but much cheaper.

That's the best thing about silver rings. It's not as expensive as the other precious metals, but is still considered precious and is a quality metal. One of the things I love about silver the most is that even those without much money can show their love and affection without be distasteful.

Even those who aren't of the middle or upper class should be able to show their love, commitment and affection, and silver allows them to do that. In addition, because of the relative inexpensiveness of this metal, young people can afford to show their affections too.

Although silver may become more expensive since commodity prices in precious metals is going up, it is still relatively cheap.
